FLEX-Admin -- Information exchange for rural hospitals
About FLEX-Admin	English (USA)
This is a service of the ND FLEX Steering Committee. We hope that it will be a practical and efficient means of communications. We will use this as a way to send information to rural hospitals. Our office receives a good deal of material sent to us as attachments to e-mails. This generally originates from the federal Office of Rural Health Policy (ORHP), the National Rural Health Association (NRHA), the Technical Assistance Services Center (TASC), and other agencies and organizations. Some of this has been provided to you via faxes and/or mailings. We will now be able to send material to you faster and hopefully more efficiently. While most of the FLEX Updates will now be sent electronically there will still be some that will be sent as a Fax or in the mail. But, the best part, I hope, is that you will use this too. All the hospitals are connected so you can send messages to the group. If you want to learn if someone has made use of a particular service/program, you can send a message to the general e-mail address and everyone will receive it. Use it to ask each other questions or to share information. I admit this is a bit of an experiment. We hope that it will be a useful tool for the provider community. Using FLEX-Admin
To post a message to all the list members, send email to flex-admin@medicine.nodak.edu. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to FLEX-Admin
Subscribe to FLEX-Admin by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. Once confirmation is received, your request will be held for approval by the list moderator. You will be notified of the moderator's decision by email. This is also a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
